Assam is facing a devastating flood disaster that has affected the lives of thousands of families. Continuous heavy rains and flooding have destroyed homes, displaced communities, and left many people without food, clean drinking water, medical aid, or shelter. Children, women, and the elderly are among the worst affected and urgently need our support. Hamari Raah is committed to extending relief to the affected families, but we cannot do it alone. Your contribution—big or small—can help provide essential supplies, food, clean water, medicines, and hope to those struggling to rebuild their lives. Let's stand together in this time of crisis and show that humanity knows no boundaries.
Women Sanitation and Hygiene: A Basic Right, Not a Luxury
“Sanitary Hygiene – Ek Zaroorat, Na ki Ek Choice”
महिलाओं और किशोरियों के लिए sanitary hygiene सिर्फ सफाई का विषय नहीं, बल्कि उनकी स्वास्थ्य, सम्मान और आत्मविश्वास से जुड़ा एक बेहद महत्वपूर्ण पहलू है। आज भी हमारे समाज में कई लड़कियाँ सही menstrual hygiene की जानकारी और संसाधनों के अभाव में संक्रमण (infection), skin problems, reproductive health issues जैसी गंभीर समस्याओं का सामना करती हैं। कई बार तो उन्हें स्कूल तक छोड़ना पड़ता है, जिससे उनकी शिक्षा पर भी सीधा असर पड़ता है। Sanitary hygiene की कमी से urinary tract infections (UTI), bacterial infections, itching, irritation और long-term में fertility issues तक हो सकते हैं। इसके अलावा, जानकारी की कमी के कारण डर, शर्म और गलत धारणाएँ भी लड़कियों के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य को प्रभावित करती हैं। इन्हीं चुनौतियों को ध्यान में रखते हुए, हमने एक छोटा लेकिन प्रभावी कदम उठाया है — “5P Hygiene Kit Initiative” इस किट में हमने 5 जरूरी चीजों को शामिल किया है: Pads (Sanitary Pads) – सुरक्षित और hygienic periods के लिए Panty – स्वच्छता बनाए रखने के लिए Paper Soap / Cleanser – हाथों की सफाई के लिए Plastic Disposal Bag – pads को सही तरीके से dispose करने के लिए Pain Relief (Basic support) – period pain में राहत के लिए यह 5P Hygiene Kit सिर्फ एक किट नहीं, बल्कि स्वास्थ्य, जागरूकता और सम्मान की दिशा में एक कदम है। इसके साथ हम लड़कियों को सही जानकारी भी देते हैं, ताकि वे अपने शरीर को समझें और बिना किसी डर या झिझक के अपने health का ध्यान रख सकें। हमारा उद्देश्य है कि हर लड़की तक यह संदेश पहुँचे: “Periods are natural, hygiene is essential, and every girl deserves dignity.” आपका सहयोग इस पहल को और आगे बढ़ा सकता है, जिससे हम अधिक से अधिक लड़कियों तक पहुँचकर उनके जीवन में सकारात्मक बदलाव ला सकें।

Blankets Donation on the Occasion of Lohiri & Makar Sakranti!
More than 150 Blankets donated to our adopted slums.
Hamari Raah Organisation, run annual blanket drives for slum dwellers and the elderly facing harsh winters. Similar programs distribute hundreds of blankets to protect against cold waves, a common practice in Haryana and nearby regions during January.
